Budget Gives Small Businesses A Boost
Obama's fiscal 2011 budget says the Small Business Administration would receive $994 million, a 21 percent increase over fiscal 2010. The funds help provide small businesses access to credit, among other projects. In addition, the Department of Housing and Urban Development would receive funds for a new grant program that would help improve the "economic competitiveness of distressed communities." |
