Serve America Act Outlines Social Innovation Funds Program
The Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act contains guidlines for the creation and operation of a social innovation funds grant program under the Corporation for National and Community Service. The program will make grants to social innovation funds, which are "developing innovative and effective solutions to national and local challenges." The program will make grants of $1 million to $10 million to organizations working for local areas or working on issues including education, poverty, health services and crime. |
